Oh favourite Stampin' Up! Stamp-set...have so many what to choose???
ReplyDeleteI have a 2yr old son so been very busy making lots of birthday cards using PUN FUN...I still laugh everytime I read the little quotes.
And I am very into the Butterfly Prints with the hole punch, it looks so classy when finished. Great for all sorts of cards.
And then there's the .... ok I will stop now but I just seem to love them all for different reasons!!!
Cheers Katie
Only one...eeek...that really requires some thinking. If 'favourite' means the one set I couldn't manage without then it would have to be "Short and Sweet"...I use these sentiments in almost every card I make!
ReplyDeleteMay "En Francais" live forever!!! I have LOVED "Organic Outlines", but must resign myself to the sad reality that it's retiring :(
ReplyDeleteCurrently my favourite is Asian Artistry, but I am a fickle creature, and my favourites change fairly often. I haven't been a demo for long enough yet to really attach to a single stamp set, though I will miss the little words in "Best Yet" as they fit so well inside the punches.
ReplyDeleteHmm thats a hard one as I am always finding new favourites. I would have to say its between Inspired by Nature, gotta love that grass and Great Friend! I use both of them ALOT.
ReplyDeleteGardenia
My favourite is Beautiful Life, it retired a couple of years ago but the daffodil just has so much hope in it. It was the flower used to support cancer in NZ which is where I came from.
ReplyDeleteMy fave is Winter Post, its the first set I ever bought, I use the post card stamp a lot for vintage themes, i Just love it.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhhhh so many to choose from. I have been rather partial to cottage garden and you can change the colours to whatever you want and it still looks beautiful
ReplyDeleteMedallion!!! No thinking required. I love that stamp set! Great friends is not far behind. The butterflies are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love the set that made me fall in love with Stampin' Up - Stem Silhouettes. It was in the first mini catalogue I saw a few years back. Come to think of it - must dust it off and give it a whirl!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh only one....Vintage Vogue I think for now. It changes regularly, there are so many great sets....
ReplyDeleteMy fav would be Always and Upsy Daisy, but they are new to my collection so that's probably why as I'm always changing my mind! lol :)
ReplyDeleteSo is this a trick question? How could you choose only ONE when there are so many beautiful sets????
ReplyDeleteI think Short & Sweet is a great little set & it gets a regular workout. :)
Just one??? Oh dear... Then it will have to be Upsy Daisy. Don't get me started on sentiment sets!!
ReplyDeletehard question, but I'd have to vote for Baroque Motifs. I've used it on just about every kind of card from wedding to birthday, masculine even, to congratulations cards. Very versatile.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you make it soooo hard!!!!! SU stuff is sooo good!!! Well... Vintage Vogue and the matching Very Vintage wheel are my current favourites. They have been used lots! I agree with a couple of the other ladies that Short and Sweet is a very useful set and I too use it on most cards!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Michelle Steen
i think my favourite set would have to Always, but i have been reaching for a few others a bit more lately, like Totally Tool and Vintage Vogue
ReplyDeleteFor me, my all time favourite set is Friends 24-7 followed closely by Lovely As A Tree! They have to be the most used stamp sets I own. I love so many SU sets, but these two stand out. :-)
ReplyDeleteGoshhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe questions are getting harder as we go into Hudson's month.
Lovely as a tree is one that is so versatile but my very favorite is Inspired by nature.Let your imaginations and your twitchy fingers have their way and each time you use it its different.Thats what I call value for money.
Christine D
Would have to be Baroque Motifs but really I love them all!
ReplyDeleteat the moment it is Vintage Vogue but it changes all the time. So many wonderful sets to choose from.
ReplyDeleteOh I love so many of their sets! At the moment I do love using Vintage Vogue. But... I think my all time favourite set is Loads of Love.
ReplyDeleteClaire xo
Baroque Motifs - all the way! LOVE IT!
ReplyDeletex Tania Gould
My favourite at the moment is Circle Circus, but very close behind is Cottage Garden, En Francais and Baroque Motifs.
ReplyDeleteFavourite for me has got to be Lovely As A Tree
ReplyDeleteI would have to say the first set I purchase was Pick a Petal and I still use it quite regularly, Love the fact you can make flower, surfboards, animals and more with it.
ReplyDeleteI think mine would have to be Inspired by Nature too!! I don't have it myself but I am always pleasantly surprised that I never tire of seeing it :)
ReplyDeleteMy current favourite is Vintage Vogue. Old fav. Baroque Motifs.
ReplyDeleteLisa H
Seeing as I can only pick one... I think it would have to be Great Friend! I love that set!!
ReplyDeleteI have so many favourites (as evidenced by the MANY stamps up on my shelves!!) but if I had to choose........ On Your Birthday is my fave sentiment set and Fifth Avenue Floral gets a good workout too!
ReplyDeleteThis week my favourite set would have to be Autumn Days!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is my very first Stampin Up set that I purchased Pocket Silhouettes. It was after I had been to a card making workshop at Sue Madex's place and I fell in love with it. I have used it for some many different types of cards. From Christmas, Thank you cards and masculine themed cards.
ReplyDeleteIt changes on a daily basis - but SOCK MONKEY is currently my fave, especially since he made it into the ... *SHHHHHHH!*
ReplyDeleteI so so love Lovely as a Tree, it is so versatile, from christmas cards to masculine cards to sympathy cards, the day this retires will be a sad sad day
ReplyDeleteVintage vogue - and I don't even own it HAHA always the way......
ReplyDeleteBaroque Motifs - plain and simple - yet so stunning
ReplyDeleteIf I HAD to choose just one it would be Fox and Friends!! (for now)
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh there's so many. I think it would have to be Vintage Vogue at the moment. I just love it. Hard decision.
ReplyDeleteohh just one how do I choose, umm let me see, inspired by nature, if I try not to think about it too much as I may change my mind, so many I love.....
ReplyDeletenow thats a tough one, i find my favourite set schanges all the time but at the moment its lovely as a tree, i love the brayering technique you can do with this one. narelle hoggard
ReplyDeleteOoo..hard to say - but I do love Lovely As A Tree. Jeane McQueen
ReplyDeleteI don't own any Stampin' Up stamps (I know, it's a tragedy!) but I admire Pocket Silhouettes from afar... if I was going to buy any set, that would be the first one I would choose!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is Rustic Rooster. Also love Vintage Vogue. It's hard to stop at one there are so many fabulous stamp sets available from S/U!
ReplyDeleteooohhhh, hummm what to choose, the most favorite one I have at the moment is 'priceless'
ReplyDeletelove the swirls and spots on it, and they look awesome with the stickles over the top for a bit of bling
If I had to pick one it would be Trendy Trees. Such a hard question cause I love them all.
ReplyDeleteFor this particular five minute period, it would be Stem Silhouettes. I think...
ReplyDelete...make that Pocket Silhouettes. See how confused I was only being allowed to choose one?!
ReplyDeleteThis week's most used stamp set is Seeing Spots, I can't believe it's retiring - it is soooooo versatile!! If you don't believe me, you'll have to buy the bundle of scrapbook tutorials and see for yourself!
ReplyDeleteMmmm mine changes all the time but I think it is currently Vintage Vogue. Gotta love Vintage.
ReplyDeleteRach:)
Argh like everyone else it changes! Hmm currently maybe Vintage Vogue
ReplyDeleteFriends 24-7 send me to heaven!
ReplyDeleteIt's the best
But so are the rest!
I don't think I could choose one favorite, so I'll post my newest set: To a Classic. I just bought it to make a card for my hubby's bday this month. Can't wait to ink it up!
ReplyDeleteThe first Stampin' Up set I ever used was Garden Whimsy and I think it's still my favourite!! Of course, too hard to pick just one!! Can't wait for new catty, there's sure to be more!! Sam Kaspers
ReplyDeleteI viewed all the comments to see what others consider their "favorite". I know it is hard to choose and I saw alot that I would consider a favorite. I would have to say my favorite is Just Believe with Inspired by Nature following close behind.
ReplyDeleteI love my Baroque Motifs the most versitile stamp set ever.
