Day Nineteen Giveaway Question

Every day the Helping Hudson team will be asking you to comment on a question.
At the end of each day a winner will be selected randomly to receive a small prize of Stampin' Up! Australia products.
This may include things such as ribbon, ink pads or rub ons.
You must include your name in the comment to be eligible for the prize.
Entries will close at midnight and the winner will be announced at noon tomorrow.
Entry is free, but the winner will only have 48 hours to claim their prize.
Unclaimed prizes will be given away in a random draw of all entrants on the 25th.

Today's question is:

What was your biggest craft investment and was it worth it?

We look forward to reading your answer, and please remember to come back tomorrow
for the next question and to find out who won.
As per Stampin' Up! Australia rules, only Australian residents are eligible for prizes.
While we cannot ship prizes overseas, any daily giveaway winners outside Australia have the option of nominating an Australian resident to donate their prize to. :-)

  1. My biggest craft investment was joining Stampin' Up! and you can't measure the worth of meeting many wonderful people as a result of sharing what you love!

  2. My Cuttlebug, and yes it was definitely worth it. I use it all the time and love it.

  3. Apart from joining SU! as Brownwyn said my biggest craft investment would have been my Big Shot! I love it over my old red 'heavy' Sizzix die cutter as it is more light weight (and balanced in weight) and can do so much more, bigger size dies etc etc. I just love it!

  4. OOoh thats a good question. I would have to say Joining Stampin' UP! and all the stuff I have bought along the way! I have made a few Big Purchases over the years that I wished I hadnt, but I dont own one SU thing that I dont love!

  6. I just bought a stainless steel kitchen bench to go in my new art studio. I am pretty sure it will be worth it. It will allow me to work standing up as it is hip height.

  7. Similarly to the pp's, joining Stampin' Up! was a big investment that I will NEVER regret. I have met so many genuinely lovely people and been involved in many wonderful events (just like this one!) and all because of Stampin' Up!

  8. I always weigh up the pro's and con's with big investment items - the last 2 have only had pro's so I went ahead and bought them - my big shot and my colour caddy are brilliant, use them all the time!!

  14. Probably my storage unit, but I already need another! It makes such a difference when you know where to find things, and when the kids cant get into anything.

  15. Other than storage - just all the wonderful bits and pieces that add up over time. I tend to buy lots of small things often. The big shot is definately on my to buy list though.

  27. like many others my two biggest investments were joining Stampin' Up as a demonstrator and the Big Shot; both were worth every cent and wouldn't go back and change either.

  29. I would have to say becoming a Creative Memories Consultant is way up there. Over the last year or so I have moved more into card making and have gotten a bit slack with my scrapbooking, opps must make time for both. My other fantastic purchase was my SU Marker Set. And I can't wait to add it with the new colours when they are released.

  30. Kicking my husband out of the computer room as I was running out of room for all my stamps, inks, papers etc...was it worth it?.....MY OATH (We had to build him another room)

  31. My biggest investment would be my entire collection of Stampin' Up! products (I wouldn't dare to add it up, it would be too scary!). But, it is worth every cent because I love them and they have brought me heaps of enjoyment and the therapuetic value alone, can't be measured!

  32. Yes I did have to buy a desk and buffet hutch to put in all my SU goodies. But my biggest SU purchase would be the big shot.

  33. My weekender scrap bag, and YES it was definately worth it

  36. I was lucky enough to find a set of architects drawers on Ebay!!!!!!It has 10 drawers and the bad news for my husband was I had an empty drawer when I had sorted and stacked my stamp collection. The good news is I am working on filling that drawer.
A great investment that makes looking for a stamps so easy......just slide out the drawer and you can see what you have.Time well saved for extra paper cutting

  37. oh boy do i really have to choose something, as everything i have brought has been well worth the expense, i only buy Stampin up products, as it takes out the hard work of matching everything up, but if i had to choose just one thing it would have to be my complete set of markers, they are so versatile
